After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead<\/a> was released in 1978. It was a sequel to Night of the Living Dead and went on to be followed by four other sequels. The zombie element played an important part in Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth<\/em>, so it was fitting that issue three gave us this swipe.<\/p>\n
