After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

This Alpha Flight <\/em>swipe uses an interesting technique by reversing the focus between the two covers. On the earlier issue, Guardian is the only one detailed. In the 25th issue, the rest of the team is in focus allowing for a nice “mystery” to be highlighted right on the cover.<\/p>\n
