After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

It’s hard to look at Youngblood’s Badrock <\/strong>and not see the similarity to the Fantastic Four’s Thing<\/strong>. Although, this cover “swipe” by Liefeld (Badrock’s creator), leads me to believe that his character is more of an homage than a swipe.<\/p>\n
