You may not be surprised to learn that most people in the comic business grew up reading comic books. However, you might be interested in knowing what <\/em>they were reading. Here’s a look at “Famous Fanmail”!<\/font><\/p>\n

Pete Von Sholly<\/a> has written and illustrated a few comics through the years. His credits range from Zero <\/em>(an underground comix series from the 1970s) to some stories in Dark Horse Presents <\/em>in 2000. The bulk of his professional work is storyboard\/design for movies. His IMDB profile<\/a> lists over 50 works including Nightmare on Elm Street 4<\/em>, the Mask<\/em>, Mars Attacks<\/em>, and the Cat in the Hat<\/em>. Prior to all that, he got a letters printed in silver age Marvel comics. Here’s another one from Fantastic Four <\/em>#62 (cover date – May 1967). In this letter, he analyzes the clues given about Crystal’s powers (which were then unrevealed). This issue is more famously known for debuting Blastaar!<\/p>\n
