After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

Reform School Girl <\/em>was one of the highlights of Dr. Wertham’s attack on comic books: Seduction of the Innocent<\/em>. The last issue of Milton Knight’s Midnite the Rebel Skunk <\/em>pays homage to that now-classic cover.<\/p>\n
