After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

The 400th issue of Batman <\/em>was illustrated by a host of great artists including Art Adams, Brian Bolland, John Byrne, Mike Grell, George Perez, Steve Rude and Bernie Wrightson. The cover featured a Bill Sienkiewicz <\/strong>piece and there was even a special introduction by Stephen King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
