After looking at hundreds of comic book covers, it becomes quickly apparent that not every cover is 100% original. Whether done intentionally or even underhandedly, there’s something about uncovering these “swipes” that adds a new element of fun to reading and collecting comics.<\/font><\/p>\n

2004’s Ghostbusters: Legion <\/em>sold well enough to warrant a second printing. And, to mark that issue, it was printed with an all-new cover. This one paid homage to the movie, Christine<\/a> (which was based on the Stephen King novel), by depicting the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1<\/strong> in the same pose as the 1958 Plymouth Fury in the Christine movie poster. Curiously enough, there is an ad in the back of Ghostbusters: Legion <\/em>#3 for a die cast replica of that very same car!<\/p>\n
