What Happens
The Lightning Rods (AKA the GLA) investigate a battle between the Thunderbolts and a Hulk robot. The Thunderbolts warn the Lightning Rods to stand back because the robot feeds off of energy. Meanwhile, the robot drains Moonstone of her energy, until it has enough to accomplish its goal (to transport Graviton back to Earth). The Lightning Rods and Thunderbolts then join together against Graviton but, he makes short work of both teams. A surprise attack from Atlas sets the two teams free and allows Moonstone to talk with Graviton, applying her psychology skills. She convinces him that he has power but no vision and so he leaves to figure out what he wants to accomplish and how to do it. Still battered and bruised, the Lightning Rods decide to let the Thunderbolts go free instead of trying again to take them in to S.H.I.E.L.D.
