All New, All Different?' No, thank you! New things are bad and different things are scary! Instead, why not join everybody's least favorite super-hero team, the Great Lakes Avengers in their brand new - but not too brand new - ongoing series, Same Old, Same Old, Great Lakes Avengers! When the team gets reinstated as permanent members of the Avengers and uprooted to Detroit, the GLA has one more shot at super hero glory, but can they answer the call? Do they even have 4G coverage here? Find out!

What Happens:
|
A paperwork problem occurs and Stark Holdings finds that they've lost the Avengers trademark to the only other person who's applied for it: Doctor Val Ventura a.k.a. Flatman. He's offered nearly anything he could want in the world - and he gets his most fond desire: for his team to be reinstated as permanent additions to the Avengers. With this newfound status, he sets out to reunite the team - first gathering Big Bertha and Doorman! Mr. Immortal has yet to respond....
Meanwhile, in Detroit, there appears to be a gathering of lesser-known villains including Shriek (you'll probably remember her from Maximum Carnage), Firebrand (long-time Iron Man villain) and Pitchfork (an all-new character debuting this issue!). We're also introduced to Good Boy - a young woman who can turn into a werewolf. Who wants to take bets on her filling the void on the team left by Squirrel Girl?
