With Mister Immortal back from the grave (literally), the team finds themselves in a real pickle (figuratively) while trying to decide on a new team leader. Things go from bad to double bad when the GLA gets shut down by the city right when they're needed the most! Also, fighting... finally! And a special look into Flatman's secret origin!
What Happens:
Mr. Immortal returns to the team just in time for Detroit City Councilman Dick Snerd to announce that the Great Lakes Avengers have been served with an injunction, barring them from "super hero activity". The City of Detroit has been experiencing a spike in super villain crime so, despite the injunction, the team goes out on patrol, looking for leads. Big Bertha and Good Boy discover that Dick Snerd is Nain Rouge (the demon-masked owner of Club Baphomet) while Flatman and Mr. Immortal discover that they both want to be team leader (uh oh!). As for Doorman? Oblivion (the crazy-powerful, cosmic embodiment of "Nothingness" ... oh! and the being that Doorman was indebted into servitude) comes calling...
