He’s written mainstays like Batman and Spider-Man for the big publishers, and he’s created well-regarded independents like the Maze Agency and the Ultraverse’s Mantra. He got a letter printed in Fantastic Four #131 (cover date – February 1973), imploring the writers to send Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch) to college.
