You may not be surprised to learn that most people in the comic business grew up reading comic books. However, you might be interested in knowing what they were reading. Here’s a look at “Famous Fanmail”!

Dean Mullaney founded Eclipse, one of the earliest independent comics publishers, in 1977. He got a letter printed in Astonishing Tales #27 (cover date – December 1974), weighing in on the debut of Deathlok.
