I started selling comics full-time in 2010 and wanted to track my progress against the online back issue markets. Here’s a look at the current comics aftermarket and my progress in achieving my goal of becoming a prominent back issue dealer.

eBay’s quantity of comic listings available continues to climb to new heights.

My Atomic Avenue orders took a drop last month due to a one week planned hiatus on the site.

Comic Collector Live continues to display some troubling signs. In the past year, their number of storefronts has decreased by nearly 25% which has led to a decrease in total listings of more than 7% in the past year. They’ll need to increase the number of storefonts if they want to see growth return.

*Amazon‘s collectibles marketplace is reporting numbers again but I strongly suspect that they are inaccurate because they show that there are 106,000 listings in their marketplace but I have 100,000 and the next largest seller has 19,000 available.

HipComic continues its plateau this month but shows strong gains over the past year.

Bonanza‘s number of listings has shown modest gains in the past year – up over 7%.
