  1. Hi I was working on a feature for my comic blog.

    http://kountis-comics.blogspot.com/p/letter-column-resource-listing.html

I had been tweeting to various comics types and got some direct feedback from Ed Brubaker, and Kurt Busiek – hitting them up directly for the info… then

J.M. DeMatteis turned me onto what you have been doing with the famous fan-mail item..

Would you mind if I re-used some of your data?
I have no intent to give the historical background or reprint the letters. I think its different enough to not be a problem

    Thanks,
    Will

  3. Good Afternoon!
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get in touch with you — the ebay site I found wouldn’t send my e-mail unless I made a bid on a comic book. I didn’t want a new comic, I wanted to see if the Uncle Scrooge book, ebay#380622362631, The Life and Times of Scrooge MdDuck, etc., etc. has been returned by the fellow doing good works in Asia.
You were right — ebay was no help at all when I asked for an extension on this matter.
Anyway, [please let me know if you have the book or when you expect it. I’d like a chance to read the most expensive “comic” I’ve ever purchased. Glad the one I returned to you arrived okay. Thanks for your assistance. -Pat-

  4. Hey, my name is Jay and I had a few comic books I was hoping to sell. I am located in Central New York. The images to the books I am selling are located in the links below. The copy of Uncanny X-men is signed by Chris Claremont. Please let me know if you want to place an offer on them.

  5. Dear Cyberspace Comics

Hope this finds you well. I thought I would get in contact with you to let you know about our Comic Book auction on auctionmystuff.com. I thought you might be interested in the selection available or perhaps you would be able to spread the information out to your customers, and fellow comic book enthusiasts! We are a newly launched online auction platform so any help to spread the word would be greatly appreciated!

[I have attached the press release for the sale to this email should you be able to put up news of the sale on your website]

To browse the sale, I invite you to click on the following link: https://www.auctionmystuff.com/category-the-comics-sale

The 39+ lot collection is available for online bidding from the 9th – 27th of May and is highlighted by the 4.5 graded X-Men Edition #1 Comic.

    X-Men Edition #1
X-Men Edition one introduces the original X-Men, which includes Professor Xavier, Cyclops, Angel, Ice-man, Jane Grey and the Beast. Xavier tells the X-Men upon their first group meeting that is is their job to protect Earth from mutants that would seek to harm it, thus foretelling the imminent rivalry between the X-Men and Magneto, who is introduced later in the story.

If you are interested in any particular lot or wish to receive further information, please don’t hesitate to email me and I would be happy to send you more images and related comic books in the auction.

    Kind Regards

    Juliet
