I started selling comics full-time in 2010 and wanted to track my progress against the online back issue markets. Here’s a look at the current comics aftermarket and my progress in achieving my goal of becoming a prominent back issue dealer.

eBay‘s number of listings recently passed 11 million and were on track to hit an all-time high of 12 million but this month saw their number begin to dwindle by a bit.
Atomic Avenue: This marketplace recently hit an all-new high number of unique comic books but their growth has leveled off.
Comic Collector Live: This marketplace lost more than 1/3 of their sellers in the past five years.
HipComic: This marketplace increased their listings sharply as one of their largest sellers (MHC) brought their listings back leading to a nearly 30% increase over last month.
YouSellComics: This is a marketplace that has caught my eye so we’ve added our inventory to their marketplace. This has caused their number of listings to see an over 7,000% increase from last year.
