I started selling comics full-time in 2010 and wanted to track my progress against the online back issue markets. Here’s a look at the current comics aftermarket and my progress in achieving my goal of becoming a prominent back issue dealer.

eBay‘s number of listings were not reporting today so I had to deduce the number of listings through other means that are likely slightly under-reported.
Atomic Avenue: This marketplace recently hit an all-new high number of unique comic books but their growth has leveled off, and began a slight decline this month.
Comic Collector Live: This marketplace’s number of listings dropped by more than 10% over the past 5 years. In that same time frame, eBay increased by 138% and HipcCmic increased by 169%.
HipComic: This marketplace has lost a significant chunk of listings because MHC has removed their listings.
YouSellComics: This is a marketplace that has caught my eye so we’ve added our inventory to their marketplace. This month their number of listings leveled off.
